Apart from being a beautifully slouchy cardigan inspired by a guernsey (i.e, think fishermen’s sweaters), this piece is exceptional in its use of rare fabric. The yarn is spun from Zimbabwean cotton, linen, and ramie, the latter of which is a near-ancient fiber known for its sheen and strength - a special dying process spares some of the thread, creating a marled look. Taken together, you get a plush cardigan with a slightly drier feel, making it great for transitional weather.
